Andy Lau, Zhang Jingchu, and Chiling Lin promoted their new movie, Switch <富春山居圖> in Hong Kong on July 16th. In the spy/ action thriller, which was filmed in Dubai, Andy portrays a secret agent who teams up with Zhang Jingchu to protect a rare world-famous drawing from falling into the clutches of the Japanese Yakuza.
Although the stars of Switch opted to wear formal evening wear at the press conference, their choices were far from classy. The fabric of Zhang Jingchu’s brown paisley dress is dated and reminiscent of “grandma’s” couch. The cut-out panels in Jingchu’s dress do not make it appear any more youthful.
Chiling Lin’s dress appears to be the same dress she wears in the actual film. The dress has a strappy cut-out panel and sweeping train in the back. Chiling has appeared in far more elegant creations in the past. This silver dress appears to try to hard and lacks elegance, revealing too much skin in a call for attention!
Andy Lau would have looked suave in a monochrome-colored tuxedo, in either white or black. Tossing the bow tie and undoing a few neck buttons would have added to the easy style, rather than trying to achieve a red carpet look, when there was no awards ceremony in sight!
Making the above wardrobe changes may result in a more winning look for the Switch cast, rather than their current awkward choices.

Wow. The skirt is scandalously short! The problem is her shoe though.
Funn,
Chiling has a long torso, but the dress displays her legs magnificently.
Nice legs… but yes, a little on the short side. The placement of her hands were not made by mistake I’m sure.
She does have nice legs, but doesn’t mean you can wear something that is so short, it defeats the purpose of showing off her legs.
And she doesn’t seem confident wearing it.
great looking legs woohoot…
Andy looks good but the two girls… they look awful!!!
Why no comments on the Lin Chiling’s Plastic/Pneumatic Face.
Yeah – she’s gone from a beauty to beast.
The media are paid to spin.
So no negative and critical comments.
We were told that this movie will also in 3D so acting skills is not emphasized, so lousy actress like Lin Chiling was chosen.
Someone needs to c-o-o-r-d-i^n)a/t\e their styles. Short & trampy to french maitre d to grandmas curtains just is a hard combination… but mom says always say something good: good eye-lashes!
Jingchu’s dress reminds me of a 80′s coverlet… euw. The colours do nothing for her.
Chiling’s pose it horrible, does nothing for the dress and the shoes are totally all wrong.
Andy, safe boring classic. Needs new stylist.
man, the two girls look like a barbie doll….fake!
